TALLAHASSEE, FLA., (www.franchisesportsonline.net)- The Tallahassee Community College men’s basketball team (7-0) will host Hillsborough Community College (4-4) in the Bill Hebrock Eagle dome at 7 p.m.
Tallahassee Community College is on a seven-game win streak and looking to make it eight straight wins heading into their match up against the Hawks.
The Hawks look to end the Eagles win streak and also look for revenge after losing to the Eagles last Monday in an overtime thriller 89-88. The Hawks will be led onto the court by their freshman guard Jacorie Archie averaging 13.3 points per game while shooting 36% and sophomore forward Ronald Jackson averaging 12 points per game on 59 percent shooting.
The Eagles will be looking to finish the season 2-0 against the Hawks with a win tonight. With five guys on the Eagles roster able to average double figures a game the Hawks will have their work cut out for them on the defensive side of the ball. The Eagles will be led onto the court by sophomore forward Corey Douglas and sophomore guard Javien Williams. Douglas is averaging 14.5 points per game and eight rebounds a game while shooting 59.3 percent from the field. Williams is averaging 12.7 points per game as well as 5.2 rebounds a game while shooting 44.8 percent from the field.
Tallahassee Community College averages 44 rebounds a game and 81 points per game while shooting 48 percent from the field and 36 percent behind the arc. Hillsborough Community College averages 38 rebounds per game and 79 points per game while shooting just 39 percent from the field and 30 percent behind the arc.
