TALLAHASSEE, FLA., (www.franchisesportsonline.net) – Last Sunday, running back Devonta Freeman contributed to the Atlanta Falcons 26-20 victory over the Seattle Seahawks in the NFC divisional-round win in Atlanta at the Georgia Dome.
In his first ever playoff game of his NFL career Falcons’ running back Devonta Freeman had 14 carries for 45-yards and one touchdown. He also contributed to the receiving game with four receptions for 80-yards.
The former Florida State running back Devonta Freeman led the team in receiving yards with his performance. His biggest play was a 53-yard catch and run late in the third quarter.
This Sunday Devonta freeman and the Atlanta Falcons will face-off against the Green Bay Packers Sunday at 3:05 p.m. ET, for the NFC Championship and a chance to earn a trip to Super Bowl LI in Houston. This game will be the Falcons last game in the Georgia Dome stadium.
The Atlanta Falcons hosted the NFC Championship Game in 2013 but lost to the 49ers, 28-24, missing out on reaching Super Bowl XLVII.
