TALLAHASSEE, FLA., (www.franchisesportsonline.net) – The Florida State women’s basketball team (23-4 ,11-3 at home) will face off against the Clemson Tigers (14-13, 3-6 on the road) on Saturday afternoon February 18 at 2 p.m. at the Donald L. Tucker Center.
Both teams are coming off a lost. Florida State is coming off a 51-60 lost against Virginia. Clemson is coming off a 84-80 lost against Notre Dame. Both teams will be looking to earn a win.
During FSU’s last game against Virginia, junior forward Shakayla Thomas suffered a shoulder injury in the third quarter, her return is questionable for Saturday’s game.
Thomas is FSU’s top scorer, who averages 15.2 points per game. She has 11 points before leaving the game Thursday night.
Last season, Florida state defeated the Lady Tigers 75-56.
The Florida State Seminoles are 72.3 in PPG, 46.3 in FG% , 71.5 in FT% and 37.2 in 3pt %.
Clemson Tigers is 75.3 in PPG , 45.2 in FG%, 71.6 in FT% and 36.1 in 3PT%.
Both teams are coming off a surprising lost and both are looking for a much needed win.
