Preview: Florida States Women’s Soccer Team Goes Against The Virginia Cavaliers

TALLAHASSEE, FLA., (www.franchisesportsonline.net) – The Florida State Seminoles women’s soccer team will play the Virginia Cavaliers on Sunday at 1 p.m. in Charlottesville, VA.  The game will be aired on ACC Network Extra.

Last week, the Seminoles were able to win, defeating the Pittsburgh Panthers 4-0. Defender Anna Patten, forward Kristen McFarland, defender Natalia Kuikka and forward Deyna Castellano led the Seminoles to victory last week by scoring one goal each. Castellano also had two assists.

The Cavaliers were also able to win, beating Syracuse 4-0.  Forward/Midfielder Alexa Spaansta led the Cavaliers, scoring two goals. Forwards Sam Rosette and Ayan Adu followed by scoring one goal each, and forward Alissa Gorzak had one assist.

The Cavaliers defense is going to have to put up their best guard against the Seminoles Castellanos who has earned the Seminoles a total of 17 points this season. Yujie Zhao has earned the Seminoles 15 points this season.  The Seminoles average 2.12 goals per game while Virginia averages 2.93 goals scored per game.
