TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (seminoles.com) – Pre-season ACC Player of the Year favoriteMichael Snaer will lead the Seminoles onto the court for their annual Seminole Madness celebration of the start of the basketball season on Friday at 7:00 p.m. at the Donald L. Tucker Center. Snaer has earned Pre-Season All-American First Team honors by the Blue Ribbon College Basketball Yearbook and Pre-Season All-American Third Team honors by CBSSportsline.com as one of the most nationally recognized Seminole players in school history.
Seminole Fact: Michael Snaer won the Everett Case Award as the Most Valuable Player of the 2012 ACC Tournament in leading the Seminoles to their first ACC Championship in school history last year. Only three players (Len Chappell of Wake Forest in 1961 and 1962; Tom Burleson of NC State in 1973 and 1974 and J.J. Reddick of Duke in 2005 and 2006) have been named as the ACC Tournament MVP twice during their careers.
Come out to see two-time ACC Coach of the Year Leonard Hamilton and his 2012-13 Seminoles as they participate in a 3-point shooting contest, a dunk contest and a scrimmage – events that signify the official start of practice for the college basketball season – one of the most anticipated seasons in the history of Seminole basketball.

Parking at the Tucker Center is free as is admission to Seminole Madness. The parking lots at the Tucker Center are free of charge all day on Friday leading up to the start of Seminole Madness.
