FAMU Women’s Cross Country Team Ready For Fall 2011 Season

With a year under most of their belts, the Florida A&M Lady Rattlers Cross Country team looks to build upon their last season.

The Lady Rattlers won the Morehouse Invitational, The Inaugural Bethune-Cookman Beach Invitational, Albany State Invitational and the 2nd Annual Bobby Lang Invitational last year.

The team now looks to achieve higher achievements this season.

Clariccia Golden and Chandelic Jackson both lead the Lady Rattlers in 2010 as freshman runners.

This season, the Lady Rattlers added to their roster a talent junior college standout, Nadine Mulvaney, from Southwestern Community College in Chula Vista, Cal.

Also returning to compete for the Lady Rattlers cross country team, after competing on the Lady Rattlers basketball team, is Simone Durden.

Durden enters her first year competing in cross country, though academically she is a junior in the classroom.

The Lady Rattlers looks to take there new additions and experience to another level this season, as they prepare to compete for higher levels in the MEAC conference.
