FAMU’s Chase Varnadore named Special Teams Player of the Week

Varnadore (PK, 5-11, 170, r-So., Tallahassee, Fla.) tied a school record for most field goals in a game with five as he connected on kicks of 19, 17, 22, 17 and 36 yards out.  His final kick of 36 yards clinched the Rattlers one-point victory against N.C. Central.

Damien Fleming (FAMU) recorded 270 passing yards on 29-of-41 attempts in the Rattlers’ 22-21 win over North Carolina Central to be honored as a top performer this week.

Kevin House (FAMU) graded out at 90-percent as he helped FAMU to 387 yards of total offense in a win over N.C. Central.  He also tallied four pancake blocks.

Devontae Johnson (FAMU) recorded an interception and a fumble in FAMU’s win over N.C. Central. He also added two tackles and two breakups in the win.
