Lavante Page set a new school record as he rushed for five touchdowns, helping the Florida A&M Rattlers pull out a 38-33 win over Southwestern Athletic Conference member Southern University, here Saturday afternoon in the Bank of America Atlanta Football Classic at the Georgia Dome, according to FAMU Athletes.

Page, finished the game rushing for 73 yards on 16 carries, earning AFC Most Valuable Player honors. He becomes the first Rattlers in school history to score five touchdowns in one game. The previous record was four TDs in a game, which was initially held by Willie Galimore. Galimore, scored four TDs against Tennessee State in 1956, Chuck Duffey duplicated the feat, scoring four against Tuskegee in 1991 and Otemann Sampson matched it as well, scoring four against Tuskegee in 1996.
