FSU Senior Soccer Player Named to Preseason All-American Team

Melbourne, Fla., native and senior defender Toni Pressley was named to Soccer America’s Preseason All-American Team. Pressley ended the 2010 season as a Soccer America first team MVP honoree.

Pressley started all 22 games for the Seminoles in 2010 finishing the year with 10 points on four goals and two assists, while also tied for the team lead with three game-winning goals.

The senior defender has helped contribute to the success of the team offensively, but mostly on defense. She helped lead the Noles to be the top-ranked defense in the ACC, during the regular season, allowing a league-low five goals against conference foes, and 14 totals goals during the regular season.

The Seminoles will open the 2011 campaign on Friday, August 19 at Oregon State.
