FSU takes on nationally ranked Marquette on Friday

The Noles will face No.11 Marquette at home this Friday, September 2 at 7:00 p.m. in the Seminole Soccer Complex.

Friday’s match will be a rematch of last year’s third round NCAA Tournament action in Tallahassee.

Florida State continues to thrive at home, according to Seminoles.com. The lady Noles posted back-to-back shutout victories over New Mexico (1-0) and North Florida (5-0) last week to extend their home unbeaten streak to 12 games – tied for the third longest streak in program history. The streak is said to have began with a 3-1 win over UCF on September 12, 2010, during which the Seminole have gone 11-0-1 with a draw at the hands of Virginia.

Friday’s game against Marquette will be shown live over the internet on Seminoles.com All-Access. Also, tune into next weeks online show to catch highlights and post-game interviews.
