FSU Women’s Soccer: Three Players Named All-Americans

Ines Jaurena, Tori Huster and Tiffany McCarty were all recognized as All-Americans by the National Soccer Coaches Association of America.

This marks the second time that McCarty has been named an All-American. Junior forward McCarty finished the 2011 season as the team leader in points, goals, shots and game-winning goals. She is tied for second in assists and was named a MAC Hermann Trophy semifinalist. McCarty also became FSU’s all-time career leader in points, goals and shots this past season.

Junior defender Ines Jaurena set season-highs for points and goals. She managed to complete three of four goals for game-winners. She earned first teal All-ACC honors in 2011 and was named a semifinalist for the MAC Hermann Trophy.

Senior Tori Huster finished fourth on the team in points with 16 recording six goals and four assists. She gained first team All-ACC, first team Capital One/CoSIDA Academic All-District and College Cup All-Tournament team honors this year.

Juniors Jaurena and McCarty were named second team All-Americans, while senior Tori received third team honors.
