TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Dec. 5) – Florida A&M head women’s basketball coach LeDawn Gibson, got an early start on recruiting as the Lady Rattlers added depth and size to their front court for the 2013-14 season
“I am very excited about these four young ladies as they will give us the size and depth that we need in our front court, said Gibson.
Marie Fleurival, 6-1, junior forward, Broward Community College transfer from North, Fla.; Sierra Lark, 6-2, junior forward/center Miami Dade Community College transfer from Miami, Fla.; Tori Mitchell, a 6-2 freshman center from Poly High School in Riverside, Calif., and Jonetria Horne, a 5-11 freshman forward from Miami, Fla., from Northwestern High School.
“They will all be good additions to the young ladies we have returning for next season,” Gibson added.
FAMU is currently 2-5 on the season and will host Southeastern Louisiana on Sat., Dec. 8 at the Al Lawson Center in a 6 p.m. start.
