The No. 11 Florida State return home to the Seminole Complex for three straight games at home, against top-10 opponents Maryland and No.4 Boston College on Thursday and Sunday.
According to seminole.com, the Seminoles have won seven of their last nine games against the Terrapins and will carry a six-game (5-0-1) home unbeaten streak into Thursday’s game against the Terps.
Last year, Maryland erased a one-goal deficit in College Park defeating Florida State 2-1. It was the first victory for the Terps over the Seminoles since a 4-2 victory in the 2002 ACC Tournament.
FSU has never lost to BC and is unbeaten in nine previous meetings posting a 7-0-2 all-time record. The Seminoles are a perfect 4-0-0 inside the friendly confines of the Seminole Soccer Complex. Goals have been hard to come by for the Eagles in the series as they have only scored two in nine games with both goals coming in a 3-2 FSU victory in Tallahassee in 2009.
Thursday – BLACK OUT THE TERPS – Free black out t-shirts will distributed to the first 500 students with a valid FSU ID courtesy of Student Housing Solutions. Fans are encouraged to help Black Out the Plex on Thursday night as the Seminoles will be wearing their all black uniforms.
Sunday – Annual Paint it Pink Game – T-shirts will be available on site with a $10 donation. There will also be an on-site silent auction. Game worn jerseys will be auctioned off online at Seminoles.com from Monday, October 17- Wednesday, October 26. All proceeds will benefit the Tallahassee Memorial Sharon Ewing Walker Breast Health Center.
