The Seminole soccer team kicked off their season Wednesday morning, with their first official practice.
The soccer team began their practice on the field for their first official practice of the season. Head coach Mark Krikorian and his staff opened practice this morning with a fitness test and technical drills to start the preparation for the first game against Oregon State August 19.
The team returns nine starters and 14 letter-winners from last year’s team that moved to the quarterfinals of the NCAA tournament for the sixth consecutive year and for the seventh time in the last eight seasons.
FSU also returns its top three scores from last year including Janice Caymen, Casey Short, and Tori Huster.
The team will also be introducing 10 newcomers this season, eight whom are freshman.
Florida State will begin their season Friday, August 19, when they compete against Oregon State on the road.
