TALLAHASSEE, Fla. – Florida State settled right back into spring practice Monday at the Al Dunlap Practice Fields donning full pads for the second straight practice. While Mondays during the regular season are usually a light workout in shells, the Seminoles got right back into their groove with another two-hour plus session with plenty of live action and contact.
“Good practice, a little better,” FSU head coach Jimbo Fisher said. “We’re getting there, making a lot more drills live and getting after it, finding out and trying to make sure these young guys still want to play. There’re still a lot of mistakes, but there’s still some good things happening. Guys are making plays, progressing, putting them in some situations to see. We’ve got a long way to go, but it’s been a solid spring so far. I don’t want to say spectacular. We’re getting there.”
