TALLAHASSEE, Fla. (Nov. 28) – The Florida A&M Women’s Basketball team outscored the University of Southern Mississippi 46-44 in the second half, but it was not enough to overcome a 19-point first half deficit as the Golden Eagles defeated the Lady Rattlers 88-71, here Wednesday evening at the Al Lawson Center.
FAMU (2-3) was paced by Jasmine Grice as she scored a team high 25 points, followed by Kimberly Sparkman wit h 13, while Patrice Collie tallied 12 to round out the cast of the Lady Rattlers in double-figures. Collie led the Lady Rattlers on the boards with five, while Andreya Lacy dished out a team high four assist.
